Trading conditions
The terms that govern bookings, payments, cancellations and Arctic operations for Ilulissat Events. Read them before you book.
These trading conditions apply to all experiences, day tours, scheduled departures and group reservations arranged by Ilulissat Events. By booking with us you accept the terms below. They exist to keep every Arctic journey safe, clear and fair.

Collaboration & Commercial Terms
- All prices and rates are stated in Danish kroner (DKK).
- Invoice payment may be agreed per booking where it suits the collaboration.
- Dedicated B2B support is available for partners and group organisers.

Cancellation Policy for Groups (10–30 people)
Cancel 56 days / 8 weeks or more before
Free cancellation
Cancel 55–28 days / 4 weeks before
50% cancellation fee
Less than 28 days before, or no-show
100% cancellation fee
If Ilulissat Event cancels an activity because of severe weather, safety risks or extreme ice conditions and cannot rebook the experience to the guests’ schedule, guests receive a full refund.

Payment
- Full payment is taken at booking for day tours, standard ticket sales and scheduled departures.
- A booking is confirmed only after payment and written confirmation.
- Accepted methods include payment cards and a free bank transfer, alongside other stated options.
- All amounts are settled in DKK. Guests cover any exchange-rate changes and conversion fees for other currencies.
- Payment methods may change with reasonable notice.

Operational Guidelines
- Arctic weather may require activities to be changed or cancelled. Where this happens, an alternative or a full refund takes priority.
- Group reservations that are a no-show or not cancelled within the four-week deadline are invoiced at 100%.
- Guests must hold travel and health insurance, including Greenland search-and-rescue coverage.
- A reachable group-leader phone number is requested so we can contact you about urgent changes.
- Activities and briefings are delivered in English. Any special language needs must be communicated to us in advance.
